Naruto is the descendant of Tobirama, the Second Hokage. Meaning, Minato is a grandson of Tobirama, while Naruto is his great grandson. So, Naruto is a descendant of Senju Clan!!!

Q : Why Tobirama, not Hashirama?
A : Hashirama is the grandfather of Tsunade. Plus, he has enough airtime by fighting Madara... And yet nothing much known about Tobirama. He deserves to be mentioned for a huge cause too.


Q : So, who are Minato's parents? And which of them is the child of Tobirama? Nothing mentioned about them throughout the manga so far?
A : Heck! Do we know who are Konohamaru's parents? Neither that there was any info on Tsunade's parents. So, such who are Minato's parents are no real issue. (But I believe Tobirama had a daughter; Minato's mom who then married somebody with a surname of Namikaze).
