FROM THE BALCONY

Here are some photos that I took from my balcony, testing my HTC phone camera...
Forgive me for the quality - told you, was testing the camera and not really good at adjusting the setting, anyway, plus my hands did shake a bit (Parkinson???) .

But I have a good view from my balcony, the Petronas Twin Tower a.k.a. KLCC, KL Tower, greeneries and so on, see lah click on the pics to enlarge -

~ Pic 1 : It's gona rain, the sky was purplish... ~

~ Pic 2 : Realised that for all this while I am at the greener side of KL, lols ~

~ Pic 3 : Take away the KLCC... haha ~

~ Pic 4 : After the rain. That was a heavy rain. Snapping the view on the right side of the balcony ~

~ Pic 5 : After the rain, the other angle ~

~ Pic 6 : Night view from the balcony. Trying to adjust to night mode. Lols, a lousy photographer I was (am) ~

~ Pic 7 : Another shot. Love the lights. Hahaha... Taking away the KLCC again ~

~ Pic 8 : Lousy photographer... Lols. KLCC and KL Tower ~

Nudge aka Adan: I always thought that having a house facing the swimming pool would be a good deal, but now dun care lah, the view from my balcony is nice enough, BETTER actually.

Dear all Japanese fellows, my prayers are with you... Keep your heads up, things will get better soon.

NAKED FAT

Yeah, chocolates are just one of my stuff... I have sweet tooth, I gotta admit.
I would be really grateful to get a basket fully loaded with all sorts of chocolates given as birthday present... But, hey, it is no longer cool once it went -

S : Ahmad, here's chocolate for you. A friend gave it to me. You sure like it.
A : Thank you (happy... greedily unwrapping chocolate's box), eh, why do your friends love giving you chocolate?
S : I dunno. They want to make me fat, I guess. Yeah, make me fat.
A : (Stopped) And you love making me fat, don't you?

Note: S = Suyee, A = Ahmad

Suyee is my superior, single, beautiful and hehehe... rich who loves feeding me chocs... Hahaha...

~ Suyee let me eat this Kit Kat this morning... Last Friday, she handed over a box of dark chocolate... adoi ~

FLYING CHILLIES - QUACK QUACK

Being Kelantanese, I gotta admit that I love eating ducks... keep craving for ducks, and yet it's pretty tough to find halal ducks around KL as Non-Kelantanese Malays do not really find ducks and their relatives to befitting their appetite.

A resolution, hehehe... Look out for Flying Chillies. Where? The Gardens, Midvalley.

Being a Thai restaurant, they serve delicious duck curry... And as well, do try their green chicken curry... Nice, nice and nice... Hmmm~

Duck Curry

We ate here a few times, then had a shot at Chakri Palace, KLCC which is somewhat a well-known Thai restaurant... and guess what, the one served by Flying Chillies is far better than Chakri's. And it won't make you as broke either.

The best deal!

~ From left: Vege (we forgot its name, lols), Thai Duck Curry, Green Chicken Curry ~

Green Chicken Curry

The only comparison to Flying Chillies' Green Chicken Curry is the one at Secret Recipe's. Both are savoury, creamy and salivating. Haha... But please bear in mind, they are darn spicy, spicy and spicy. You have been forewarned, yeah!

Customer Service

Like other Thai restaurants, be prepared to be greeted, "sawaddika~p" or "sawaddikra~p" once stepping into their premises. Lols.

On behalf of John Doe and myself, I need to put on record that their customer service during our visits were always nice... comfortably welcoming enough.

And, hahaha... we did have a great deal friendly argument during our first visit when one of the waiter made mistake with our order, and hahaha... we were given complimentary drinks (Summing up, we did not pay for anything that day, lols). And yes, such isolated incident would never stop us from frequenting Flying Chillies... Believe me, what had happened that day really had gotten us on the nerve, but their superb rectifications and contingencies had really made us postively surprised. The supervisor had even came out to apologise and even bothered explaining the unfortunate incident... Hehe, Mr./Ms. Waiter, you were forgiven... Hahaha.

Seriously, looking for a good treat, try Flying Chillies!
